Message from the Principal

St. Brogan’s College is a progressive school, offering a comprehensive range of subjects and choices to both boys and girls of all ages and abilities. It exposes its students to a whole series of experiences and opportunities appropriate to their year and level. The school’s programmes are boosted by a very fine tradition of sporting excellence (e.g. football, hurling, camogie, basketball) and a strong commitment to participating in a number of key extra-curricular activities (e.g. debates, enterprise, quizzes, art competitions, young scientists’ exhibition, etc.).

The transition to second level is a major step for all primary school pupils but, one which, we find young people negotiate with great skill and enthusiasm. All our procedures, policies and practices are geared to helping students make as smooth a transition as possible.

We delight in the success and achievements of all our past pupils in their chosen careers—in business, commerce, trades, industry, government services, farming, the professions etc. We follow their careers with interest. May they continue to prosper, grow and achieve.  St. Brogan’s College has a strong record of achievement, it continues to enjoy the strong support of the local community and management and staff today, as in the past (the school has a history of service to our community dating back to the early 1900s), is determined to build on our achievements and successes. That’s our promise. We invite you and your children to be part of our future.”  We aim to ensure that all student’s in our care reach their potential.
